We will be performing Duruflé Requiem as part of a Sung Requiem Mass in recognition of All Soul's on Monday 3rd November.

  • Would you like to join a choir which sings masses and motets by composers from 16th. century to the present day in the correct liturgical setting?

  • The full choir sings two Sundays each month and for major feast days.

  • Rehearsals are on Mondays at 6.30pm. (Tea and coffee laid on!)

  • You don't have to be a Catholic but we are particularly interested to hear from people with good sight reading ability.

  • Contact the Director of Music, Rosemarie Darby, at the Holy Name on 07798 858900.

St. Philip Neri

St. Philip Neri (1515-1595), the founder of the Oratory, was adopted as the patron of the choir because of the particular emphasis he gave to the importance of music and musicians in the Church, and also in anticipation of the time when, if it is God's will, the Oratory will be established in the Holy Name.
